The Rock fell to the Ontario Blues

The Rock fell 41-7 to the Ontario Blues Saturday in Canadian Rugby Championship play at the Swilers Rugby Complex.

Co-coach Pat Parfrey thought the depleted Rock played quite well but were beaten by a well-drilled Blues side. "It was a tough ask of our younger players filling in for our World Cup players and injured starters.

They were well in the match into the second half but mistakes such as missed tackles resulted in three late break-away tries." With this second loss in their 5 game CRC season, the Rock will not retain the title they won last season.

The Rock take on the British Columbia Bears next Saturday 3pm at the Swilers Rugby Complex.
